New Crew for J.Crew

So, J.Crew still has this awesome dress, the Talitha patchwork dress. I must have caught it on the website about 3 months ago (maybe more), and I was stunned. I thought, wtf, when did J.Crew get amazingly innovative and interesting designs? I mean, they are known for their East Coast Resort-type feeling and high-quality basics, but now I feel there is a distinct feeling of quirkiness that may lead to a great fashion piece. I would buy this dress if it were half the price, I think--it is $495. And it won't be going on sale. It's probably worth almost 500$ just in fabric costs alone. >.>
